Robert George Vines is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer based in Florida, with a variety of songs originally released in 2020, with “Are You Feelin’ Randy” along with one other that have since been re-released in 2023-24 in a new phase of his career by adding them to his own record label, Rip Vinz Records, Inc. A label with the works for recording artists in the Florida region, of which several artists have a homebase with as well. This is one of two songs sent my way by their distributor, and although I like both tracks, this one stands out the most as a theatrical sort of number anyone can appreciate. It also has just the right tempo to match the mood I was in the first time I put it on the headphones. The laid-back vocals tell the story, and whether or not you can make out what it’s all about, the chorus takes it over the top and you’re instantly hooked after being led by a good melody. (more...)
